The "Pyramid of Asia"
is a "living" pyramid, erected in the magnetic north-south axis and, although of
smaller size, in its proportions, an exact replica of the Egyptian models. On the basis of
its geometrical form it is to focus the terrestrial and cosmic energies and to create a
room of strong and balanced energy fields in its interior.
|
For the Philippine spiritual healers and
their patients the pyramid is a means of taking in these energies into the human body and
as a place of harmony, relaxation and meditation.
| Only natural building materials
that are not electrically conductive were allowed to be used in the area below the metal
roof top and above the floor. The pyramid is here constructed from wood and natural stone,
having no metal connecting elements whatsoever. This
is a challenge to construction planning, as people in the province of Pangasinan have to
reckon with heavy earthquakes and typhoons. The pyramid is planned to resist to wind
speeds up to 200 km/h also under these circumstances. |

mph) also under these circumstances.
Even the heavy turn-up entrance gate has been made without any metal connecting elements
and without any metal joints.
